Court Record Researcher / Office Assistant

SAS Data Retrieval, a Nationwide Court Records Research Provider based in St. Petersburg, FL is looking for a talented, team-oriented professional to join our dynamic team as an Office Assistant. We are a small business with plenty of room for growth. This is a full-time position located in our Tierra Verde, FL office.

What does an Office Assistant do?

Responsibilities include communicating with clients and court researchers via email, chat, or phone. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools like MS Excel, MS Word, and use various office equipment such as Apple computers. You will be required to perform some criminal and civil records checks in an effort to ensure you have a full understanding of the work we do. Ultimately, a successful Office Assistant should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office.


  • Must have previous experience working for a company that primarily conducted court records research / criminal background checks. This is a requirement
  • Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills
  • Minimum of one year customer service experience such as Administrative Assistant, secretary, retail, restaurant, call center, etc. (Required)
  • Friendly and outgoing personality, must be a “People Person”
  • High school or equivalent (Required). Associates Degree preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Driven and Growth oriented. We are a small but growing company. You will need to be able to grow with us as we expand
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite of programs. Must have knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
